The Somerset County Coalition on Affordable Housing  is a housing non-profit that has been helping individuals and families for more than 20 years.  The staff provides personalized housing counseling to help motivated people make informed decisions and overcome obstacles in order to achieve their housing goals.

“Homeownership During Difficult Times” was a newly created program that was presented and recorded on May 16, 2009. This was the first time SCCOAH  offered this free program which was geared towards existing homeowners who were concerned about debts, the ecomomy and keeping their homes. Expert panelists covered the following topics: Personal Financial Management, Crisis Budgeting, Options for Homeowners, Understanding the Legal Foreclosure Process in New Jersey and Resources to COntact.
