 Financial Literacy Group Program

Credit When Credit is Due-Financial Literacy Course

Credit has a huge impact. Your credit report can be used to determine your eligibility for an apartment rental, a mortgage application, employment, and insurance. Applicants must live or work in Somerset County and meet the income criteria. Please call 908-704-9649, mailbox 6 if voicemail.

The 2008 in-depth credit education course consists of:

•One Individual One-on-One Orientation/Counseling Session
(Refundable book deposit of $25 required at this session)
To be scheduled with a SCCOAH counselor upon acceptance into the program
3 Group Sessions from 6 - 9 PM
September 9, 2008

October 7, 2008
Class 2
November 3, 2008
Class 3
One Graduation from 6-7:30 PM, November 18, 2008

Course Location is in SCCOAH's Downstairs Conference Room, 600 First Avenue, Raritan, NJ 08869. A light dinner will be provided for each class. Please be advised that there are approximately 15 stairs to get to the downstairs conference room. SCCOAH reserves the right to cancel this course in the event enrollment is not sufficient.

SCCOAH is now accepting applications for our 2008 Credit When Credit is Due program. Mandatory classes will be held during the months of August, October and November of 2008, as outlined above. Participants must do a monthly budget and track their expenses for a minimum of three months. Graduates from the Credit When Credit is Due program will have their credit reports reflect that they have completed this Nationally Recognized program.
